PÊREL VIR ELKE DAG:

(Lukaa 23:49-56)

49. En al Sy bekendes het ver weggestaan, ook die vroue wat Hom van Galiléa af gevolg het, het hierdie dinge gesien. 

50. En daar was 'n man met die naam van Josef, 'n lid van die Raad (Sanhedrin), 'n goeie en regverdige man -

51. hy het nie met hulle raad en handelwyse saamgestem nie - van Arimathéa 'n stad van die Jode, wat self ook die Koninkryk van God verwag het. 

52. Hy het na Pilatus gegaan en die liggaam van Jesus gevra;

53. en dit afgehaal en in linne toegedraai (wat gebruik was om lyke mee toe te draai), en dit neergelê in 'n graf wat uit 'n rots gekap was, waar nog nooit iemand in gelê het nie. 

54. En dit was die dag van voorbereiding en die Sabbat wou aanbreek. 

55. En die vroue wat saam met Hom van Galiléa gekom het, het ook gevolg en die graf gesien, en hoe Sy liggaam neergelê was.  

56. Daarop het hulle teruggegaan en speserye en salf berei, en op die Sabbat gerus, volgens die gebod.

PEARL FOR EACH DAY:

(Lukd 23:49-56)

49. But all His acquaintances, and the woman who followed Him from Galilee, stood at a distance, watching these things. 

50. Now behold, there was a man named Joseph from the Jewish town of Arimathea. He was a member of the council (the Sanhedrin), a good, (upright, advantageous) man, and righteous (in right standing with God and man.)

51. He had not consented to their decision, but he himself was also waiting for the Kingdom of God. 

52. This man went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus. 

53. Then he took it down, wrapped it in linen, and rolled it up in a linen cloth, (for swathing dead bodies), and laid Him in a rock hewn tomb, where no one had ever been laid. 

54. That was the day of Preparation (for the Sabbath) and the Sabbath was drawing near. 

55. And the woman who had come with Him from Galilee, followed after, and they observed the tomb and how the body was laid. 

56. Then they returned and made ready spices and ointments (perfumes). On the Sabbath day they rested according to the commandment. 

(Ek vertrou die Heilige Gees van God om die korrekte Skriflesing aan my deur te gee elke dag, volgens u behoeftes en verwagtinge. 

Aan Hom kom toe alle lof, eer, heerlikheid, majesteit, lofprysing, aanbidding en danksegging, van nou af tot in ewigheid. 

I am trusting the Holy Spirit of God to reveal the appropriate portion of Scripture every day, according to your needs and ecpectations. 

To Him be all glory, honour, majesty, praise, worship and thanksgiving, from now and forever more).
