(Duteronomium 11:5-7)

5. "Sodat die Here hulle omgebring het, tot vandag toe; en wat Hy vir julle in die woestyn gedoen het, tot julle aankoms op hierdie plek;  

6. "en wat Hy aan Datan en Abiram, die seuns van Elíab, die seun van Ruben, gedoen het - hoe die aarde sy mond oopgemaak en hulle saam met hul huisgesinne en hul tente en al die lewende wesens agter hulle aan, onder die hele Israel verslind het;

7. "maar julle eie oë het gesien al die groot werke wat die Here gedoen het."

5. "The Lord Has destroyed them to this day; what He did for you in the wilderness until you came to this place; 

6. "and what He did to Dathan and Abiram and the sons of Eliab, the Son of Reuben: how the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up, their households, their tents and all the substance that was in their possession, in the midst of Israel -

7. "but your eyes have seen every great act of the Lord, which He did."

(Ek vertrou die Heilige Gees van God om die korrekte Skriflesing gedeelte aan my deur te gee elke dag, volgens u behoeftes en verwagtinge. 

Aan Hom kom toe alle eer, heerlikheid, krag, mag, lofprysing, aanbidding en danksegging van nou, tot in ewigheid.
