(Deuteronomium 4:39,40)

39. "Daarom moet jy vandag weet en ter harte neem dat die Here God is, bo in die hemel en onder op die aarde; daar is geen ander nie, 

40. "en jy moet Sy insettinge en Sy gebooie hou, wat ek jou vandag beveel, dat dit met jou en jou kinders ná jou goed mag gaan, en dat jy die dae mag verleng in die land wat die Here jou God jou vir altyd sal gee."

39. "Therefore know this day, and consider it in your heart, that the Lord Himself is God in the heaven above and on the earth beneath; there is no other.  

40. "You shall therefore keep His statutes and commandment which I command you today, that it may go well with you and your children after you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which the Lord your God is giving you for all time."  

(Ek vertrou die Heilige Gees van God om telkens die korrekte Skriflesing aan u deur te gee, volgens u behoeftes en verwagtinge.
